Inter-agency project management

A story of success.

Successfully delivering a high transaction volume, user-centred online service is hard enough, but it takes another level of skill when it involves four agencies and three external vendors all working together. Our role was to manage the client’s participation in the program and to drive the adoption of Agile within the delivery team. 

Our approach was to focus on the external relationships while setting the internal team up with the skills to follow an Agile way of working. This gave us the internal flexibility and external cooperation necessary to change the delivery strategy when required, ensuring that the system could begin delivering value as soon as possible. It is now one of the highest volume online government services.
