PMO implementation
Building confidence for the CIO.
It's the scenario every executive fears: blindsided by unknown project delivery issues at client or committee meetings. It happened too often for one CIO, who asked us to solve the problem for them.

We worked to identify the causes both of the delivery and communication failures, and developed a tailored project management framework to match the level of experience of branch personnel. A pragmatic PMO structure was then implemented to improve coordination, monitor adherence to the new framework and offer support where necessary. A key task was to monitor the portfolio of projects and alert the CIO to emerging issues, providing her with a new confidence in project delivery.
